Job summary

Meta seeks a highly motivated Associate General Counsel, Competition & Regulatory to advise on antitrust matters across mergers, product launches, investigations, and regulatory inquiries worldwide. You will help shape Meta's competition strategy with a global team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a J.D., bar admission, 5+ years of antitrust experience in law firms, government or in-house, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative solutions,

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and bar admission in at least one U.S. state.
• 5+ years of legal experience, including at a law firm, government, and/or in-house experience with antitrust matters.
• Experience representing companies in antitrust inquiries and/or merger reviews.
• Experience developing creative solutions to complex legal issues.
• Flexibility and eagerness to work on legal matters globally.
• Interpersonal skills with a commitment to professionalism and collegiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide the company with counsel on antitrust issues relating to mergers and acquisitions.
• Help develop and execute our legal strategy in connection with the review of mergers and acquisitions by regulators around the world.
• Advise and counsel the company on competition issues relating to product launches and related business strategies.
• Represent the company in connection with competition inquiries around the world.
• Advise the company on global antitrust legislation, merger control updates, and emerging regulatory trends.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement long-term competition strategy.
