Job summary

Apple's SWE Ops is seeking a technically driven Engineering Project Manager to orchestrate internationalization and global launches of AI-driven features across software and hardware. You will coordinate Core ML, data science, hardware engineering, and product design to deliver AI capabilities across 25+ languages and 40+ countries.

The role emphasizes end-to-end execution, data pipelines, model evaluation, and rigorous quality standards to ensure accurate, safe, and culturally aware experiences

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Engineering Program/Project Manager (EPM) or TPM roles in software or hardware
• Experience managing end-to-end lifecycle for complex multi-team features spanning software and hardware
• Cross-functional leadership across backend (Modeling/Core ML), frontend, hardware, and QA
• International product expertise shipping globally; i18n challenges in scaling AI features
• Ability to translate technical AI/ML concepts into clear executive updates and risk assessments
• Experience with data-driven decision making and model evaluation workflows

Responsibilities

• AI Feature Orchestration: coordinate between Core ML, software, hardware, and design for international locales
• End-to-End Schedule Management: manage master i18n schedule for global launches
• AI Data Operations: oversee data generation, budgets for datasets, and data playbooks
• Model Evaluation and Quality: drive evaluation across audio, vision, language, and fusion models
• Hardware-Software AI Integration: coordinate readiness for on-device ML & NPIs across teams
• Technical Risk and Mitigation: identify linguistic bias and regional data constraints
• Stakeholder Leadership: surface risks and provide status to executives across engineering and product teams
