PPG seeks an Operations Director for Aerospace Transparencies to lead a multinational, hybrid-operating organization across sites in the US and Italy. You will drive strategic direction, deliver on-time, on-cost products with quality and safety at the forefront, and align operations with commercial strategies.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline, engineering preferred.
• 10+ years of operations and engineering experience in discrete manufacturing.
• 5+ years of management/supervisory experience.
• Fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and demands.
• Proven leadership to drive cross-functional teams and talent development.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Be actively engaged in Safety and Quality; lead by example and ensure compliance.
• Monitor Environmental, Health, and Safety performance and drive improvements.
• Build an operations and supply chain culture with accountability.
• Monitor and improve KPIs; lead corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with Business, Program, and Functional teams offsite.
• Collaborate on S&OP, supplier management, and procurement strategies.
• Lead analysis of alternatives to deliver efficiencies and simplicity.
• Ensure service requirements for internal and external customers are met.
• Drive standardization, collaboration, and progress in operations.
• Delegate work, set expectations, and recognize results.
• Deliver financial commitments and manage working capital.
• Anticipate tech changes to boost productivity and growth.
• Drive lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve yields and safety.
• Lead root cause/CAR processes and sustain results.
• Ensure conformance with EH&S and Quality policies.
