Job summary

Isar Aerospace is seeking a dedicated buyer to organize transports, coordinating international shipments and vendor contracts to keep deliveries on time and on budget. You will manage documentation, compliance, and cost controls while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Key qualifications include a business/SC background, experience in transport/logistics, and strong English communication. SAP experience is a plus, and the role offers ample benefits and a path for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in transport organization, logistics, or freight purchasing (national and international).
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and industry standards (land, sea, and air freight).
• Experience with contract negotiation and vendor management.
• Solid knowledge of customs procedures, exim processes, export control regulations, and handling of dangerous goods.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and cost optimization.
• Effective communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods and services, nationally and internationally.
• Schedule timely transportation services and monitor shipments to meet delivery targets.
• Select transport modes and arrange logistics with carriers, brokers, and freight forwarders for land, sea, and air freight.
• Negotiate contract terms with drivers and vendors to secure favorable agreements.
• Manage transportation documents and invoices for traceability and audit readiness.
• Track transportation budgets and performance against cost targets.
• Develop and maintain transportation policies ensuring regulatory and plant‑level compliance.
• Coordinate with loading and warehouse teams to hit shipment goals.
• Ensure schedules and deadlines for all transport activities are met.
