Job summary

American University in Washington, DC seeks a part-time student worker for the International Admissions team. Duties include handling high-volume email inquiries, using FAQ templates, evaluating applicants against requirements, and reviewing documents for authenticity.

This is a student position available to enrolled AU students. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail, excellent English communication, and the ability to manage time effectively while supporting admissions

Responsibilities

• Respond to high volumes of email inquiries using predetermined FAQ templates.
• Analyze data to determine if applicants meet International Admissions’ requirements.
• Review documents submitted by students/counselors for accuracy and authenticity.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
