Job summary

WTW in New York seeks a Global Actuarial Consultant to advise multinational clients on retirement and HR benefits across borders. You will coordinate multi-country projects, act as project manager, and deliver high-quality client-ready analyses with senior staff.

Strong communication and global experience are essential. The role requires 7+ years of actuarial valuation work, ASA or equivalent credentials, and a track record of managing global client engagements.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of actuarial valuation and consulting experience, preferred for multinational clients.
  • Experience with global HR benefit programs or domestic programs with international interest.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver quality work on time and budget.
  • Strong client relationships, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • ASA designation required or equivalent international credentials; progress toward FSA preferred.
  • Experience living and working overseas; foreign language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior consultants on large client engagements and lead smaller client engagements across multi-country projects.
  • Draft statements of work, project plans and budgets for global workstreams and teams.
  • Serve as daily contact to clients located in headquarters and overseas offices regarding delivery of services.
  • Finalize and present high-quality deliverables to clients.
  • Manage client expectations and raise issues to senior consultants.
  • Provide strategic consulting in global retirement plan accounting, valuation and design.
  • Perform technical review of complex retirement valuations and other work products.
  • Participate in mergers, acquisitions, benefit plan strategy and funding policy projects.
  • Mentor analysts and contribute to development of new tools and country profiles.
