Job summary

HARMAN International seeks a Quality Director for the Acoustics Business Unit to oversee quality performance across NPI and legacy products. This role includes defining and executing the quality strategy while managing a global team. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 15+ years in Quality or Operations, and strong expertise in quality management systems and acoustics. This position may be performed remotely.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Quality, Engineering, or Operations in acoustics, audio, or precision manufacturing.
• Experience in leading multi-site or global quality teams.
• Strong expertise in NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) and reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality performance for the Acoustics Business Unit.
• Define and execute the Business Unit quality strategy and operating model.
• Lead quality engagement across R&D, NPI, manufacturing, and field performance.
