Job summary

Johnson & Johnson's DePuy Synthes division is seeking a Manager, WW Accounting Policy and Procedures, based in Raynham, MA. You will lead global accounting policies, ensuring GAAP and SEC compliance, and partner with Consolidations, FP&A, and Audit teams to standardize processes.

The role emphasizes governance, training, and continuous improvement in a dynamic, global environment, with travel up to 10% domestic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA license or equivalent certification in good standing.
• 6–8 years of progressive accounting, controllership, or finance experience with policy/technical accounting responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC rules and regulations.
• Experience developing, interpreting, and implementing accounting policies.
• Ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate complex accounting concepts clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in high-pressure environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to build collaborative relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance, and governance of global accounting policies.
• Monitor emerging accounting and regulatory developments (FASB and SEC) and assist in implementing standards.
• Partner with Consolidations, FP&A, Audit, and other Finance teams for consistent policy application.
• Support internal and external audits with policy interpretations, documentation, and technical guidance.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of financial processes.
• Provide training to finance teams on accounting policies.
