Job summary

Dexory is seeking an experienced Accounting Lead to own our accounting function as we scale internationally. You will manage a small team and work with the CFO, FinOps and Corporate Finance leads, with on-site presence in Wallingford at least 3 days per week.

You will lead month-end close, consolidations, and statutory reporting across UK, EU and US entities, strengthen controls, and drive automation and scalable processes while guiding external audits and tax compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ relevant accounting, audit or financial reporting experience.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience with financial controls, risk and governance.
• Previous in-house experience in a growing or international business.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting across UK, EU and US entities.
• Lead month-end close, consolidations and financial reporting.
• Strengthen accounting processes, policies and internal controls.
• Lead annual statutory audit and manage external auditors.
• Oversee VAT, tax compliance and statutory reporting across jurisdictions.
• Support SOX readiness and investor due diligence.
• Provide technical accounting input into planning and forecasting.
• Partner with CFO and Finance team on commercial matters.
• Lead, develop and grow the accounting team.
• Drive automation and scalable processes.
