Job summary

Dexmate is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to own our core accounting infrastructure and act as a strategic finance partner to leadership. You’ll lead the monthly close, build scalable systems, and manage cash flow, payroll, and tax compliance while coordinating with external accountants and auditors.

The role requires a strong background in GAAP, stock-based compensation, and experience in a hardware/manufacturing startup environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Experience as Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Accounting Manager.
• Strong GAAP knowledge including stock-based compensation.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly and quarterly close processes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Build scalable accounting systems, COA, and internal controls from scratch.
• Manage AP/AR, payroll, and expense management.
