Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering as a minimum.
• Minimum seven (7) year’s experience in the sales of custom-engineered capital goods for the power industry internationally.
• Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven marketing, management, and negotiation skills.
• Broad understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and the structural and mechanical principles of the product and its heat transfer process.
• Experience in negotiating successful technical and legal contracts.
• Organized and able to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond quickly to requests.
• Able to establish and maintain customer relationships at senior management levels.
• Have a valid passport and be willing to travel frequently and on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand existing account relationships at engineers, procurement, and senior management levels.
• Obtain contract awards with assigned customers for new HRSG capital projects, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Assume complete responsibility, technically and commercially, for all proposals assigned and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide budgetary quotations to accounts, including design guidance and budget price calculations.
• Provide guidance to Proposal Engineers and delegate technical responsibility.
• Assist in developing the sales strategy section of the business plan.
• Gather information on future projects and opportunities; maintain CRM for customers and proposals.
• Attend trade shows, meet customers and vendors, and prepare presentations.
