Vogt Power International in Louisville, KY seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support global HRSG projects valued at multi-million dollars. You will assist in managing contracts, schedules and cost controls while coordinating with field teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least three years of project management/engineering experience, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Excel and WORD. Travel and passport are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Minimum three (3) years in a Project Management/Engineering environment handling design and supply of complex large equipment.
• Knowledge of contracts, cost control and scheduling is essential.
• Must be organized, thorough, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and other relevant software.
• Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel.

Responsabilités

• Develops the overall Project Quality Plan and ensures company-wide compliance.
• Generates monthly Project Reports for customers.
• Assists in developing and monitoring the project schedule with the Project Planner.
• Writes requisitions and administers subcontracts for large engineered equipment.
• Reviews vendor invoicing for accuracy and resolves disputes.
• Facilitates and publishes meeting minutes for project teams.
• Coordinates field activities with Vogt-Power site construction and startup personnel; tracks NCRs and field-related costs.
• Coordinates with the Technical Field Advisor to resolve field questions and capture lessons learned for process improvement.
• Assists PM in gathering information and costs to develop change orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned by PM or VP of Project Management.
