Job summary

IMA Financial Group is seeking an experienced insurance professional to support and market global new business and renewal submissions, liaising with internal teams and international partners. The role emphasizes accuracy in premium/commission data, account entry, and timely client communication.

The position requires at least 3 years of related experience, a relevant degree, and MS Office proficiency, with some travel.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of similar or related experience required.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • CISR and/or CIC designation preferred.
  • Experience with MS Office products including Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Limited travel to less than 25%.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required.
  • Strong analytical and insurance interpretation skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and market global new business and renewal submissions, gathering information and delivering submissions to underwriters.
  • Intake service requests from IMA market offices and route as needed.
  • Request loss runs from carriers and international broker partners.
  • Verify and reconcile premium and commissions; prepare commissions statements.
  • Enter accounts data across internal and partner systems.
  • Serve as liaison between IMA service teams and international broker partners for reverse flow accounts.
  • Create commission allocations for foreign revenues and develop account workbooks and summaries.
  • Interact professionally with clients and external partners via email, phone, and in person.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

include but are not limited to:

  • Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values.

  • Under moderate guidance, prepare and market global new business & renewal submissions, including gathering information and the marketing and/or delivery of submissions to underwriters.
  • Under minimal guidance, intake service requests from all IMA market offices and process or assign accordingly.
  • Request loss runs from carriers and international broker partners.
  • Verify and reconcile accuracy of premium and commissions and prepare commissions statements for internal and external use as required.
  • Under minimal guidance, responsible for policy and information entry of accounts for all internal and partner data systems.
  • Act as liaison between IMA service teams and international broker partners for reverse flow accounts.
  • Responsible for creation of commission allocations for foreign revenues.
  • Responsible for creation of account workbooks, comparison spreadsheets, and summaries for all submitted, sold and bound coverages.
  • Interact professionally and timely with clients and external partners via email, phone, and in-person.
  • Responds in a timely, accurate and friendly manner to Producers, Practice Leads, Account Executives, Account Managers, and other internal associates.
  • Support the department team by participating in the completion of all duties required to complete a project and service an account.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Attains and/or maintains professional designation or license: CISR and/or CIC
  • Experience with MS Office products required (specifically Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
