Job summary

IMA Financial Group in Wisconsin is seeking a detail-oriented, client-focused professional to support marketing and placement strategies, generate carrier quotes, and maintain organized files.

You will negotiate terms with carriers, clearly communicate coverage details to producers, and help build lasting relationships while ensuring timely delivery of services and achievement of team goals.

Responsibilities

  • Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values.

  • Collaborates with sales staff locally and long distance, and with carrier partners to drive new business growth.
  • Generates quotes using carrier online quoting and comparative rating systems with detailed proposals.
  • Enters prospect and underwriting data into the agency management system and maintains organized account files.
  • Negotiates account eligibility and coverage terms with carriers.
  • Keeps knowledge of carrier/broker appetites and attends carrier meetings to monitor market changes.
  • Communicates quoted coverages, costs, and deductibles to producers and suggests enhancements.
  • Coordinates and issues invoices, COIs, Broker of Record requests, auto IDs, mortgagee communications, filings, and binders.
  • Assists in marketing-to-servicing transitions and day-to-day carrier relationships.
  • Supports building long-term carrier partnerships and upholds company appetite and standards.
  • Aims to meet or exceed agency and department goals, supporting team members as needed.

Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
  • Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values

  • Collaborates with sales staff, both locally and long distance, as well as carrier partners in developing and executing marketing and placement strategies to drive new business growth
  • Generates quotes utilizing carrier online quoting and comparative rating systems and creates professional, detailed proposals per agency standards
  • Enters prospect and underwriting information into agency management system and maintains organized account files with proper documentation
  • Negotiates account eligibility and optimum coverage terms with insurance carriers
  • Maintains knowledge of carrier and broker appetites and specialty programs including attending carrier meetings to stay apprised of market and rate changes
  • Effectively communicates quoted coverages, costs, and deductibles to producers including identifying and suggesting coverage enhancements and mitigation opportunities
  • Coordinates and issues invoices, certificates of insurance, Broker of Record requests, auto ID cards, communication with mortgagees, filings, and binders
  • Assists in providing a seamless transition from marketing to assigned servicing team
  • Manages day to day relationships with carrier partners and assists in building long term partnerships
  • Assists in upholding company appetite and standards while building relationships with producers and contributing to their success
  • Strives to help meet or exceed agency and department goals and deadlines including assisting other team members as needed
