Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an Accommodation and Logistics Specialist based in Reston, VA. The role supports Global Workforce Services with accommodation studies, market analyses, and feasibility assessments for projects and proposals, traveling as needed.

You will provide subject matter expertise on housing strategy, camp operations, and transportation solutions, coordinating with multiple GBUs and project teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13–15 years of relevant experience or 17–19 years in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years of experience in Workforce Services, Construction HR, Labor Relations, workforce planning, accommodation planning, logistics, or related functions.
• Experience conducting accommodation studies, market assessments, feasibility analyses, or workforce planning for large industrial projects.
• Knowledge of accommodation models, camp operations, and housing markets.

Responsibilities

• Leads accommodation studies, workforce logistics assessments, and market analyses for GBUs, proposals, and projects.
• Evaluates housing environments and transportation networks to support existing and prospective projects.
• Develops studies and recommendations on capacity, cost, risk, and accessibility for the workforce.
• Supports pursuit, planning, mobilization, and execution with logistics expertise.
• Maintains centralized repositories of studies, market intelligence, and approved suppliers.
• Tracks workforce accommodation trends, costs, and risks across global locations.
• Collaborates to develop forecasts and long-range workforce planning assumptions.
• Creates presentations, reports, and executive briefing materials for leadership decisions.
• Identifies risks and develops mitigation strategies for accommodation and logistics.
• Works with Construction, Security, ES&H, Labor Relations, and Procurement to align strategies.
