Job summary

Bechtel seeks a Transportation and Logistics Specialist to support Global Workforce Services from Reston, VA. You will conduct transportation studies, mobility assessments, traffic analyses, and logistics planning to back proposals, mobilization, and project execution.

You will develop parking strategies, workforce hub models, shuttle programs, and accommodation-to-jobsite transportation systems. Requires a bachelor's degree and 8–10 years of experience (or 12–14 years in lieu).

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years in lieu.
• Experience conducting transportation studies, logistics assessments, workforce mobility evaluations, traffic analyses, or workforce access planning.
• Knowledge of workforce transportation models and commuting strategies.
• Experience evaluating transportation risks, roadway infrastructure, and costs for large projects.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office and data/reporting tools; strong presentation skills.
• Ability to build relationships and work in cross-functional teams; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Leads workforce transportation studies, mobility assessments, traffic analyses, and logistics planning support.
• Evaluates workforce access, parking, roadway infrastructure, and commuting challenges for projects.
• Develops transportation recommendations covering parking, hub models, shuttles, and on-site/off-site solutions.
• Performs site visits and audits of transportation systems and facilities.
• Creates tools, templates, and reports to support project proposals and execution.
