• Maintains solution architecture documentation, code, and change histories.
• Evaluates emerging AI and geospatial technologies for Workforce Services applications.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Automation and Analytics Specialist is responsible for developing artificial intelligence, automation, and analytics solutions that support workforce accommodation, transportation, and logistics planning across Bechtel projects globally.This position partners with Global Workforce Services (GWS) subject matter experts to convert established business processes and study methodologies into repeatable, AI-enabled workflows. These capabilities will accelerate the development of Accommodation Studies, Transportation Studies, workforce mobility and trafficability assessments, market analyses, and executive decision-support products while improving consistency, source traceability, and analytical rigor.The position is based in Reston, Virginia, and may require periodic domestic and international travel to support solution development, implementation, validation, and training. #LI-TH1

Major Responsibilities:

• Leads the design, development, deployment, and governance of AI-enabled solutions supporting Workforce Services business processes.
• Develops AI agents, automated workflows, analytical models, and digital research solutions for accommodation, transportation, workforce mobility, trafficability, and logistics studies.
• Converts established study methodologies and business requirements into scalable, repeatable, and governed technical solutions.
• Integrates authorized internal and external data sources to support research, market analysis, forecasting, calculations, risk identification, alternatives evaluation, and report generation.
• Develops standardized prompts, data models, decision frameworks, templates, dashboards, geospatial analyses, and reporting tools.
• Implements controls that identify unsupported conclusions, unreliable or outdated sources, data inconsistencies, calculation errors, and information requiring subject matter expert validation.
• Configures knowledge-grounding and retrieval methods that enable AI solutions to use approved standards, procedures, project information, and trusted external sources.
• Establishes human-review and approval points and ensures outputs clearly distinguish verified facts, calculations, assumptions, data gaps, risks, and recommended actions.
• Maintains solution architecture documentation, source code, prompt libraries, testing records, technical standards, user guidance, and change histories.
