Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Logistics Automation and Analytics Specialist in Reston, VA. You will lead AI-enabled solutions for workforce accommodation, transportation, and logistics planning across Bechtel projects worldwide, partnering with GWS experts to convert processes into repeatable workflows.

The role requires 8–10 years of relevant experience (or 12–14 years in lieu of degree) and strong Python, data integration, and Microsoft tech skills to deliver automated decision-support tools and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or international equivalent and 8-10 years of relevant experience, or 12-14 years in lieu of degree.
Experience architecting, deploying, and maintaining enterprise AI or automation solutions.
Experience with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and semantic search.
Proficiency in Python; working knowledge of SQL, JS/TS, PowerShell or similar.

Responsibilities

Leads design, development, deployment and governance of AI-enabled solutions for Workforce Services.
Develops AI agents, automated workflows, analytical models and digital research solutions.
Transforms methodologies into scalable, repeatable technical solutions.
Integrates data sources to support research, market analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
Maintains solution architecture documentation, tests, and change histories.
