Job summary

Solairus Aviation seeks a highly experienced pilot to safely operate the Global 8000, ensuring regulatory compliance and exceptional client service from planning through arrival. You will review flight readiness, analyze weather and NOTAMs, and maintain meticulous trip documentation.

The role requires substantial PIC and multi-engine time, a current first-class medical, and willingness to relocate to Florida. A strong team player with a commitment to safety and integrity is essential.

Qualifications

• 3,000+ hours total flight time.
• 1,500+ hours PIC.
• 1,500+ hours multi-engine land; 500+ hours PIC in multi-engine land.
• 500+ hours turbojet time.
• 250+ hours instrument time.
• Type rating on Global 8000 or comparable aircraft.
• Current first-class medical.
• On-call availability and annual ICAO procedures training.
• Primary residence in Florida or willing to relocate.
• Proven team player with commitment to safety, service and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Global 8000 safely under Solairus Aviation policies and applicable FARs.
• Review maintenance status and conduct preflight inspections per Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Analyze weather, NOTAMs, facilities, and alternates for go/no-go decisions.
• Protect safety and security of passengers, aircraft, and crew throughout operations.
• Ensure complete trip paperwork and documentation per procedures.
• Collaborate to deliver an exceptional client experience from planning to arrival.

Lead safe, prudent operations of the Global 8000 while anticipating and meeting clients’ travel needs. You’ll collaborate with a high-performing team, ensure full regulatory and company compliance, and represent Solairus Aviation’s culture every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the Global 8000 safely and in strict accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Review maintenance status, verify airworthiness, and conduct thorough preflight inspections using the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Analyze weather, NOTAMs, facilities, and alternates along the planned route and at destinations to make sound go/no-go decisions.
• Protect the safety and security of passengers, aircraft, and crew throughout every phase of operation.
• Ensure complete and accurate trip paperwork and documentation in line with current procedures.
• Work collaboratively to deliver an exceptional client experience from planning through arrival.
