Job summary

Solairus Aviation seeks a seasoned pilot to operate the Gulfstream Global 6000 safely and in full compliance with FAA FARs and Solairus procedures. You will hold a high bar for safety, service, and integrity on every flight.

Responsibilities include reviewing maintenance status, verifying airworthiness before departure, completing pre-flight checks, planning missions, and delivering a refined client experience. Must reside within two hours of KFXE or relocate.

Qualifications

• 3000 hours total time.
• 1500 hours PIC.
• 1500 hours MEL.
• 500 hours MEL PIC.
• 500 hours turbojet.
• 250 hours instrument time.

• Accurately complete all trip documentation and administrative paperwork.

What You’ll Do

• Assume full responsibility for safe operation of the Global 6000 on every flight.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and ensure airworthiness prior to departure.
• Complete Aircraft Flight Manual pre-flight inspections and all required checklists.
• Plan and brief each mission, including weather, facilities, route, destination, and alternates.
• Ensure strict compliance with Solairus policies, procedures, and all applicable FARs.
• Safeguard passengers, aircraft, and crew while delivering a refined client experience.
• Accurately complete all trip documentation and administrative paperwork.

What You Bring

• Flight experience:
  • 3,000 hours total time
  • 1,500 hours PIC
  • 1,500 hours multi-engine (MEL)
  • 500 hours MEL PIC
  • 500 hours turbojet
  • 250 hours instrument time
• Ratings & medical: Type rating on the Global 6000 or comparable aircraft, and a current FAA First-Class Medical.
• Training: Completion of ICAO International Procedures training annually.
• Availability: Comfortable working on an on-call basis to meet operational needs.
• Location: Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KFXE or willingness to relocate.
