Job summary

Solairus Aviation seeks a Captain to pilot the Global 6000, delivering safe, efficient, and customer-centered service for discerning clients. You will assume command, monitor maintenance, perform preflight checks, and ensure compliance with FAA regulations while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity on every leg.

Candidates must have 3,000 hours total, 1,500 PIC, 1,500 MEL, 500 turbojet, and be type-rated on the Global 6000 or equivalent, with a current First Class

• Assume command of the Global 6000 and conduct all flights with the highest standards of airmanship.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and airworthiness prior to release.
• Perform thorough preflight inspections in accordance with the Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Complete weather, NOTAM, and facilities checks for the route, departure, destination, and alternates.
• Ensure full compliance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Safeguard the well-being of passengers, crew, and aircraft at all times.
• Accurately complete all trip paperwork and operational documentation per current procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Assume command of the Global 6000 and conduct all flights with the highest standards of airmanship and judgment.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and airworthiness prior to release.
• Perform thorough preflight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Complete comprehensive weather, NOTAM, and facilities checks for the route, departure, destination, and alternates.
• Ensure full compliance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Safeguard the well-being of passengers, crew, and aircraft at all times.
• Accurately complete all trip paperwork and operational documentation per current procedures.

What You’ll Bring

• 3,000 hours total time.
• 1,500 hours PIC.
• 1,500 hours multi-engine land (MEL).
• 500 hours MEL PIC.
• 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• 250 hours instrument time.
• Type rated on the Global 6000 or a comparable aircraft.
• Current First Class Medical.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis and complete ICAO international procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KVNY, or willingness to relocate.
