Job summary

Solairus Aviation seeks a professional Pilot in Command for the Global 6000 based in Teterboro, NJ. You will command the aircraft on all legs, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, while maintaining meticulous flight documentation.

Responsibilities include preflight reviews, weather analysis, NOTAMs, and route planning, plus adherence to Solairus policies and FARs. A generous benefits package and on-call schedule complete this demanding role.

Qualifications

• Total flight time of 5,000+ hours including 2,500 hours PIC.
• Multi-engine 1,500 hours and Multi-engine PIC 500 hours.
• Turbojet 500 hours and Instrument 250 hours.
• Global 6000 type rating or equivalent aircraft.
• FAA First Class Medical.

Job description

What you'll do

• Serve as Pilot in Command of the Global 6000, ensuring safe, compliant operations on every leg.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and documentation prior to release.
• Conduct thorough preflight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM).
• Evaluate weather, NOTAMs, performance data, alternates, and facilities along the planned route and at destination(s).
• Operate in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and all applicable FARs.
• Safeguard the safety and security of passengers, crew, and aircraft at all times.
• Accurately complete all trip paperwork and operational documentation.

• Type rating on the Global 6000 or comparable aircraft.
• FAA First Class Medical.
• Able to work on an on-call basis.
• Ability to complete ICAO International Procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of TEB, or willingness to relocate.
