Job summary

Solairus Aviation seeks a Captain to lead safe, discrete operations on the Gulfstream G650, upholding a culture of safety, service, and integrity. You will make sound decisions, deliver premium passenger experience, and represent the flight department with professionalism on every mission.

The role requires extensive flight hours, type rating on G650 or similar, current medical, and ability to relocate if needed. On-call availability and ICAO training are required to maintain operations.

Qualifications

• Total flight time: 3,000+ hours.
• PIC time: 1,500+ hours.
• MEL time: 1,500+ hours.
• MEL PIC: 500+ hours.
• Turbojet time: 500+ hours.
• Instrument time: 250+ hours.
• G650 or comparable type rating.
• Current First-Class Medical.
• On-call availability and ability to support dynamic scheduling.
• Annual ICAO International Procedures training commitment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe operation of the Gulfstream G650 in a prudent, standards-driven manner.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and airworthiness prior to each flight.
• Perform a thorough preflight inspection per the Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Plan each mission, including weather and facilities checks for route, destination, and alternates.
• Adhere to Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable FAA regulations.
• Safeguard passengers, aircraft, and crew at all times.
• Accurately complete all trip-related documentation per current procedures.

Compensation

Solairus lists crewmember pay ranging from $50,000–$500,000, based on factors including geography, experience, equipment type/aircraft, duties, training, and assigned account.

Actual compensation will reflect the specific role and candidate background.
