Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Production Worker to help move glass pieces through cutting, tempering and laminating stages. You will load and unload materials, read simple measurements, and report to the Production Supervisor.

This role emphasizes safety, quality and teamwork. You’ll join a dedicated production team with opportunities for overtime, training, and potential for raises based on performance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strict adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to read, understand and communicate.
• Available to work overtime when required.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• On/off-loading glass product from tables, rolling racks and wood crates for 10 or more hours.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements while effectively using a tape measure.
• Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to another to expedite the production process.
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment.
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis across different departments.
