Job summary

Kopp Glass, Inc. in Pennsylvania is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support quality activities in our advanced manufacturing environment.

This hands-on role inspects, measures, tests, and evaluates manufactured glass products and processes using specialized equipment, contributing to the QMS and nonconformance investigations. You will collaborate with engineering and production to troubleshoot quality concerns and help develop and refine inspection and test methods, defect trend

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a relevant technical or applied science field.
• Experience in quality, automation, robotics, or other technical environments.
• Ability to learn and operate automated and specialized manufacturing, measurement, and/or process equipment.
• Ability to interpret, monitor, and document technical process and quality information.
• Proficient ERP, data entry, and Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical quality evaluations and analysis of manufactured glass products and process results.
• Perform tasks related to glass manufacturing including QC responsibilities and analysis of ware, including but not limited to, inspection, color measurement, striking, pre-shop color checks and thicknesses verification, and other product testing as required.
