Position Summary

Hartung Glass is currently seeking a experienced, energetic, and detailed Production Supervisor. In other words, are you a true leader who is looking to prove yourself and move up!! Strong leadership skills, ability to engage team members, solid ER skills and strong communication skills. Looking for individuals with manufacturing experience and understands how to engage employees.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Meeting targets in cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time performance. Our front-line leaders are on the floor 80%+ of the time to ensure team members are achieving daily goals.
• Overseeing and managing line stops, safety violations/accidents and chronic quality defects.
• Managing department capacity and man-hours.
• Problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
• Training direct reports; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; coaching and implementing corrective actions.
• Managing company policies through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.

Annual Salary: $75,000 - $95,000/yr DOE

Requirements

• Commitment to safety
• 2-5 years supervisory experience. Experience must be in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• The ability to train, coach, mentor, and motivate employees
• Adaptable to change and growth
• Pass pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen (excluding marijuana).
• Able to lift between 50-75 lbs. (some areas may require less)
• Able to work overtime
