Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Perrysburg, OH seeks a Machine Operator I to prepare glass for the next department or end users. You will operate various equipment with emphasis on safety, quality and efficiency, reporting to the Production Supervisor.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of operating experience in manufacturing
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand 8-10 hours daily

Responsibilities

• Operate cutting, grinding/polishing, CNC or tempering furnace equipment to prepare glass
• Load/unload products from tables, racks, trucks or crates
• Verify data on work orders and input into machine software
• Adhere to production requirements and quality control plan
• Visually inspect glass for defects and label/packages accordingly
• Read basic measurements with a tape measure to verify dimensions
