Job summary

OBE is seeking a Machine Operator I to prepare glass for the next department. Operate cutting, grinding/polishing, CNC, or tempering equipment and report to the Production Supervisor. This role rewards attention to detail, safety, and reliability, and offers a path to grow within a global manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Able to read, understand and communicate.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand 8–10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product from tables, racks, trucks, or crates.
• Enter data into machine software per work orders.
• Meet production requirements.
• Follow the quality control plan.
• Visually inspect glass for defects.
• Perform tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Attach labels and tags to products and packages.
• Read measurements with a tape measure to verify dimensions.
