Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in the United States is hiring a Production Worker focused on handling glass pieces through cutting, tempering, and laminating processes. You will off-load from tables, racks, or crates and report to the Production Supervisor.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency, and requires a strong work ethic and teamwork. Responsibilities include measuring with a tape, transporting materials, performing quality inspections, and rotating across departments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to read, understand and communicate.
• Available to work overtime when required.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• On/off-loading glass product from tables, rolling racks and wood crates for 10 or more hours.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements while effectively using a tape measure.
• Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to expedite the production process.
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment.
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis across different departments.
