Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Production Worker to handle glass pieces and move them through cutting, tempering, and laminating steps. This role emphasizes safety, quality, efficiency, and teamwork as a vital part of our production team.

The position involves on/off-loading from tables or racks, reading basic measurements with a tape measure, and rotating across departments to support production goals. Join a leader in architectural glass and build a career with us.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to read, understand and communicate.
• Available to work overtime when required.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• On/off-loading glass product from tables, rolling racks and wood crates for 10 or more hours.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements while effectively using a tape measure.
• Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to another to expedite the production process.
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment.
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis across different departments.
