Qualifications

• 3 yrs supervisory exp in manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Training employees, assigning and directing work, appraising performance in accordance with the organization's policies and SOP's
• Provide feedback to Production Manager and other areas regarding potential product and/or process improvements
• Complies with job safety practices, policies, and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for safe performance of work assignment
• Follows appropriate standard operating procedures
• Maintains ISO 9001 procedures and work instructions
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Other duties as assigned
• Directly supervises employees in the packing department, carries out supervisory responsibility in accordance with the organization's policies and SOP's, performance reviews, rewarding and discipline employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems
• May be requested to work overtime or weekends for special events or deadlines
