Job summary

O‑I Glass is offering a co‑op position in the Finished Products group in Perrysburg, Ohio, running from June through December 2027. You will gain hands‑on exposure to glass container manufacturing, inspection, and the cold end, with independence to tackle projects and collaborate with global teams.

You’ll work with mentors, document experiments, and present findings, with opportunities to deploy solutions across production and lab environments, developing technical skills and a broader view of

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or similar field, with Junior or Senior status preferred.
• Ability to balance several projects
• Good interpersonal skills, in particular networking with team members that may only collaborate through remote working.
• Good written communication skills
• Attention to detail and organization

Responsibilities

• Learn about glass container inspection and the cold end, and the role the team plays in it.
• Work on one or more projects to advance the objectives of the team in cold end operations.
• Gain independence to explore problems, propose solutions, and roll out implementations to Cold End Operations teams or other global teams.
• Collaborate with other teams to deploy solutions and produce technical reports.
