Job summary

Owens-Illinois, Inc. is seeking a motivated co-op student in Ohio to join the Finished Products group from June through December 2027.

You will learn about glass container manufacturing, inspection, and the cold end, and contribute to projects that improve operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare training materials, and gain exposure to real-world manufacturing challenges under mentorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering, with Junior or Senior status preferred.
• Ability to balance several projects and priorities.
• Good interpersonal skills for remote collaboration within a global team.
• Strong attention to detail and organized approach to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Finished Products team in understanding glass container manufacturing processes.
• Learn about glass container inspection and the cold end area.
• Work on one or more projects to advance team objectives in cold end operations.
• Develop and present technical information and training materials to operations teams.
