Job summary
Southwest Glass in Houston is seeking an Installer to join our team. Work on residential and commercial glass projects, including shower enclosures, mirrors, windows, and tabletops. This role requires precise measurement and on-site installation.
The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and Glass experience is a plus. You will cut glass on-site and in the shop, fabricate metal, and ensure accurate installations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Glass experience is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license a plus.
- Able to perform physical work and lift/move glass.
Responsibilities
- Glass cutting on-site and in shop.
- Metal fabrication on-site.
- Mirror installations.
- Glass installations - shower enclosures, cabinets & shelves, windows, tabletops, doors.
- Precisely measure for glass & mirror products to be fabricated at our facility.
- Measure single and double pane windows.
- Replacement window installations.
- Install vinyl beading and glaze window with silicone.
- Repair or replacement service as needed.
