Job summary

OBE is seeking an experienced glass edge grinding operator to set up and run a vertical grinder, grind or polish edges, and document edger production per shift schedules.

This is a 1st shift role, Monday–Friday from 6am to 4pm, with safety policies and quality standards guiding daily work. You will communicate production needs across shifts and contribute to a safe, productive manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer familiarity is required.
• Read and use a tape measure.
• Read and perform mathematical calculations and measurements with numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret sketches for glass edges.
• Read schedules and translate production demands.
• Operate grinder to produce ground or polished edges.
• Operate overhead crane and vacuum lift.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines.
• Complete daily work sheets and forms.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance and safety compliance.
