Job summary

OBE is hiring a Machine Operator responsible for preparing glass and feeding the fabrication line. You will operate grinders, CNC machines, tempering ovens, and robotic equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

Ideal applicants have 1–2 years of machine operation in manufacturing, can read work orders, and lift up to 75 lbs while working 8–10 hour shifts in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years of prior machine operation experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Able to read, understand, and communicate.
• Able to stand 8–10 hours per day and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• On/off-loading of the product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, doors assembly, or wood crates.
• Load proper data into the machine computer software using work orders.
• Adhere to production requirements and quality control plan.
• Visually inspect each piece of glass for imperfections.
• Operate equipment such as grinders, CNC machines, tempering oven, and robotic systems.
• Attach labels and tags to products and packages.
• Read basic measurements and verify dimensions with a tape measure.
