Job summary

OBE is seeking a skilled Glass Edger Operator to run a vertical grinder, grind or polish glass edges, and read sketches to ensure accurate edge fabrication. You will track edger production and communicate needs with the Lead on each shift.

This 1st shift position, Monday–Friday 6am–4pm, requires basic computer skills and the ability to read a tape measure and perform simple math. Training provided; safety first.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand sketches and translate to glass edges.
• Must read schedules and interpret edger production demands.
• Basic computer skills and ability to perform simple measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate vertical grinder to grind or polish glass edges.
• Track edger production and communicate production demands to shift operators.
• Operate overhead crane and vacuum lift; perform routine maintenance on machines.
• Complete daily work sheets and forms; adhere to safety policies.
