Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking an Assembler II - Doors to join our production team in Richmond – P2. You will assemble glass doors, frames and subcomponents, following SOPs and work instructions to meet safety, quality and delivery targets.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of production assembly experience. Candidates should read a tape measure, have basic math and PC skills, and demonstrate good communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, 1–2 years production assembly experience preferred.
• Basic reading/writing, PC skills, and math; ability to read a tape measure with fractions/decimals.
• Good communication skills and understanding of 6S workplace principles.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components into sub-assemblies and units following work instructions.
• Use hand, electric, and pneumatic tools; maintain safety and quality standards.
• Keep work area clean and organized; perform minor equipment setups under supervision.
• Inspect parts and report defects; assist with production as needed.
• Cross-train teammates and adapt to production demands.
