Job summary

Dover Food Retail in South Chesterfield, VA is seeking an Assembler I to join a production team manufacturing glass doors, frames and subcomponents. You will assemble parts, inspect units, and support line-level problem solving to ensure parts meet specifications.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of production assembly experience, basic reading/writing skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while standing most of the shift. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components into subassemblies or completed units according to work instructions
• Inspect parts or units using visual inspection, gauges and calipers
• Perform end-of-line checks and repairs
• Notify assemblers, leads and supervisors of changes to ensure specifications
• Assist assembly groups with problem solving and improve first-pass yield
