Responsibilities

1. Review and approve all pay applications, invoices, and purchase orders.
2. Review reports summarizing and forecasting activity and financial position, ensuring accuracy.
3. Provide management with timely updates on project work, status, and progress.
4. Review recurring journal entries and supporting work papers prepared by staff accountants.
5. Assist Shared Services leadership with special projects and staff training.
6. Coordinate month-end and year-end accounting closings.
7. Verify journal entries and perform final review of trial balances for accuracy.
8. Review A/P invoices for proper coding.
9. Ensure timely completion of monthly closes and coordinate audits.
10. Manage staff development, performance evaluations, and employee recognition programs.
11. Participate in staffing decisions, work procedures, and employee performance management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• 10+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and research skills.
• Willingness to travel and work under tight deadlines.

Skills and Physical Demands

• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to interpret documents, solve problems, and apply mathematical concepts.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, reaching, and vision requirements.
