Job summary

TESO Group in New York is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to manage daily general ledger activities, perform month‑end close, and ensure accuracy across assigned entities in line with US GAAP.

You will lead balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset and lease accounting, payroll accruals, and intercompany transactions, while supporting audits and maintaining strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, or finance, with experience in general ledger accounting, month‑end close, or balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience with multi‑entity environments and/or the retail or consumer industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger accounting for daily entries, accruals, and month-end close.
• Balance sheet reconciliations including bank, prepaid expenses, and leases.
• Fixed asset, lease accounting, and payroll accounting responsibilities.
• Intercompany accounting and reconciliations across entities.
• Financial statement reviews and variance analysis; identifyMissing accruals and misclassifications.
• System and internal control improvements; use NetSuite and related systems.
