Job summary

The Yakama Nation Housing Authority seeks an accounting professional to manage general ledger activities, Tax Credits, grants and special projects accounting in accordance with GAAP. The role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and collaborates with all YNHA programs.

Responsibilities include reconciliation, budget-to-actual analysis, journal entries, audit preparation, and timely financial reporting to investors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or business finance preferred.
• Three years’ experience in general ledger accounting with balance sheet reconciliation.
• CPA preferred and proficiency in Excel, MIP, and ADP payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Reconciles Tax Credit General Ledger accounts and maintains subsidy ledgers.
• Prepare budget-to-actual reports and analyze over-budget items.
• Lead and prepare for Tax Credit audits and submit quarterly financial reports.
