Responsibilities include tracking development activity, aiding in audits, managing AR/AP, and supporting budgeting and reporting while meeting deadlines and providing backup to the finance team.

Qualifications

• The bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• At least 3 years of experience with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll or General Ledger.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, methods and terminology.
• Advanced Excel skills with formulas and spreadsheet design.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Senior Accountant for tracking development activity.
• Support annual financial audits by collecting records and preparing schedules.
• Review and assist with construction and grant reporting and reconciliation of accounts.
• Assist in technical accounting work for federal, state and local grants.
• Meet reporting deadlines and respond to inquiries regarding transactions.
