Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 2 years of related professional experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to read, interpret, analyze, and apply information from reports.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Office; willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments for month-end closing.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliation and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules.
• Collaborate with accounts payable and serve as backup when needed.
• Support preparation and review of financial statements, balance sheets, and budget variances.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
