Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Engineering Manager, Git to lead a senior/staff engineering team focused on the Git version control system, upstream development, and related infrastructure. You’ll shape the technical direction, foster ownership, and ensure delivery across performance and scalability priorities.

You’ll mentor engineers, promote rigorous code review, and collaborate with distributed teams to align product and infrastructure goals while balancing open source

Qualifications

• Experience managing engineering teams with direct reports and career development.
• Ability to guide highly specialized engineers through ambiguity and long feedback cycles.
• Strong written communication and asynchronous collaboration across distributed teams.
• Proven track record delivering on long-horizon technical projects with maintainability in mind.
