Job summary

Ozaukee County is seeking a GIS Technician to support parcel mapping, NG911 data maintenance, QA/QC, and mapping services for county departments and the public.

Under the GIS Manager, you will use ArcGIS Pro to maintain accurate geospatial data, prepare data extracts, and generate maps and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders. The role emphasizes data quality, documentation, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in GIS, Geography or related field.
• At least two years of GIS experience involving data editing, QA/QC, and map production.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro for routine editing, queries, geoprocessing and map layouts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain parcel geometry and attributes using ArcGIS Pro; perform QA/QC and document corrections.
• Create maps and GIS products for county departments and external stakeholders.
• Maintain NG911 addresses, road centerlines, and emergency service boundaries.
• Respond to GIS data requests and provide technical guidance to users.
• Assist with Land Information Program activities and reporting.
