Job summary

The GIS Technician at Ozaukee County supports the GIS and Land Information Program by maintaining parcel data, performing QA/QC, and producing maps for internal and public use. You will use ArcGIS Pro to edit geospatial datasets, interpret land records, and ensure accuracy across foundational layers.

Responsibilities include NG911 data maintenance, coordinating with municipalities, and assisting with data preparation for state submissions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in GIS or related field.
• At least two years of practical GIS experience with data editing and map production.
• Proficiency using ArcGIS Pro for routine editing, queries, and QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Parcel maintenance and data quality checks using ArcGIS Pro.
• Create maps and GIS products for departments and the public.
• Maintain NG911 data and support MSAG/ALI coordination.
• Respond to data requests and provide GIS user support.
• Assist with program reporting and documentation.
