Overview

The Maine Office of GIS team seeks a motivated IT professional to lead technical teams, collaborate with Maine business clients to design, maintain, and support ESRI applications, and embody our C.A.R.E. values. At MaineIT, we:

This role involves serving as the lead system administrator for the state's ESRI GIS infrastructure, with extensive experience in deploying enterprise GIS solutions, including remote desktop, mobile GIS, portal collaborations, and role-based user management.

What will you do?

Administer the enterprise ArcGIS software infrastructure and support GIS application deployment across the state.

Sample tasks include:

• Manage enterprise GIS and geodatabases in Microsoft SQL Server
• Manage scripts, models, and tools for GIS users
• Design architecture for emerging GIS technologies
• Install, configure, tune, and maintain GIS software
• Support GIS components, data services, and applications within secure infrastructure

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 6 years of related education, certifications, or work experience. Related training or internships may be credited proportionally.
