Job summary

CSU Stanislaus is seeking a Temporary Student Assistant to support GIS data management in Capital Planning and Design. Duties include field surveys, CAD data import, and updating campus maps and space allocation drawings.

Open to current Stanislaus State students at the junior level or higher, with GIS knowledge and ArcGIS experience, plus strong customer service and teamwork skills. This is a part‑time, on‑site role in Turlock, CA.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students must be registered in a minimum of six Fall/Spring units.
• Post‑baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four Fall/Spring units.
• Current Stanislaus State student (Junior level or higher) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain GIS database using Trimble GPS equipment and software.
• Import CAD data from campus files as needed.
• Field survey to update campus maps (utilities, trees, floor plans, campus features).
• Maintain campus space allocation drawings and related updates.
• Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
