Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking a GIS professional to join our collaborative team.

The role focuses on managing, analyzing, and visualizing geospatial data using ESRI GIS software, including ArcGIS Pro, Experience Builder, Survey123, Field Maps, and Story Maps. The successful candidate will publish and maintain web maps, dashboards, and GIS applications in ArcGIS Online or Enterprise, perform spatial analyses for municipal projects, and help design robust geospatial databases and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geography, GIS, planning, history or related field with two years of progressive relevant professional experience.
• Or six years of relevant professional experience in lieu of degree.
• Proficient in ESRI GIS software and related tools; ArcGIS Pro, Experience Builder, Survey123, Field Maps, Story Maps.
• Ability to design and maintain geospatial databases, ensure data integrity, and create high-quality maps and interactive applications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ESRI GIS software to manage, analyze, and visualize data.
• Publish and maintain web maps, hosted feature layers, dashboards, and GIS apps in ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Conduct spatial analysis and geoprocessing for municipal projects.
• Create maps and interactive web applications for presentations and reports.
• Collaborate to design and maintain geospatial databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient data retrieval.
• Develop geospatial workflows and standards.
• Stay up to date on the latest GIS technologies, tools, and methodologies.
• Communicate GIS findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports and presentations.
• Provide GIS technical assistance and basic training to project teams and end users.
